What we collect on the website
ShortBasic server logs, and whatever you choose to email us.- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting keeps standard logs: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use them to keep the site running and to spot abuse.
- No tracking cookies. This site doesn't set advertising or analytics cookies, and there are no accounts or sign-up forms here.
- Fonts. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers to fetch them, which shares your IP address with that service.
- Emails. If you write to us, we get your email address and whatever you put in the message.

What we collect in our games
ShortScores, gameplay stats and crash reports. No ads, no ad IDs.None of our games show ads or include advertising trackers. What each one handles:
Burrow Brawl
PC and Nintendo Switch. Leaderboard scores, your platform display name and ID, and online match info (such as connection quality) while you play with others.
Sting Operation
PC, iOS and Android. Daily-run scores, your display name, a device or platform identifier to restore your purchase, and optional anonymous crash reports.
No Flinch
In development for PC and Switch. If you join a playtest we'll collect gameplay stats and the feedback you send, and we'll say so before you start.
Across the games we may also collect anonymous gameplay stats (for example, which level ends the most runs) and crash and performance reports (device model, OS version, what broke). Purchases are processed by the store you buy from. We only learn that a purchase happened so we can unlock it; we never see your card details.

Leaderboards: the boss rule
ShortYour name and score are public. Everything else stays behind the counter.Leaderboards are the heart of what we make, so here's the deal in full:
- Public: your display name, score, rank, date and, in some modes, run time or a replay of your run. Anyone playing the game can see these.
- Private: the platform account ID or device identifier we use to tie a score to you. We don't show it on the board.
- Anti-cheat: we check scores that look impossible. That can mean looking at run data such as inputs, timings and game version. Scores we judge to be cheated get removed.
- Your name, your choice: pick a display name that doesn't reveal who you are in real life. Names that are offensive or contain personal info may be changed or hidden.
- Opting out: you can play offline or turn off score uploads in settings where the game supports it, and you can ask us to remove your entries at any time.

Why we use it
ShortTo run the games, keep the boards fair and fix what breaks.- Running leaderboards, daily runs and online matches.
- Catching cheaters and keeping rankings honest.
- Fixing crashes and balancing levels that are unfair (or too easy).
- Restoring purchases and answering support emails.
- Sending our newsletter or playtest invites, only if you signed up for them.
We don't build advertising profiles, and we don't use your data to decide what to sell you.
-
07
How long we keep it
ShortAs long as it's useful, then it's gone.- Leaderboard entries: while the board is live, or until you ask us to remove them. Weekly and daily boards are archived; we may keep top results as a hall of fame.
- Crash reports and gameplay stats: up to 12 months.
- Server logs: a short period, typically no more than 90 days, unless we need them to look into abuse.
- Emails: as long as we need them to help you, then cleared out.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any email.
